Times Square bomb suspect still no-show in court

(AP) - One week after his arrest, the suspected driverin the failed car bombing of Times Square hasn't surfaced in court.

Authorities say Faisal Shahzad has beencooperating at an undisclosed location since his arrest on May 3.

Experts say Shahzad's sudden and protracted cooperation withouta day in court is unusual. But they also say since he waived hisrights to an initial appearance, authorities can legally continueto question him.

The 30-year-old Shahzad is accused of driving a bomb-laden SUVinto Times Square on May 1, causing a panic and clearing streets ofthousands of tourists. The Pakistani-American was arrested two dayslater.
