Suspects in fatal Mother's Day shooting waive court appearance

The two suspects accused of killing two Bronx teens in a Mother's Day shooting legally waived their right to appear in court yesterday.

Prosecutors say Dexter Green and Robert Mitchell were both arraigned and are due back in court June 29.

According to prosecutors, Mitchell waived his right to testify in front of a grand jury. Dexter Green's attorney says he will testify to claim his innocence.

If both are convicted of murder charges, they face a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.
