Baby girl delivered in van in front of Bronx Lebanon Hospital

A Bronx baby girl decided to come out early today. EMS has confirmed that a baby was delivered at around 8 a.m. in front of Bronx Lebanon Hospital.

The baby was delivered in the parking lot of the hospital at 1650 Grand Concourse. Two paramedics from Bronx Lebanon Hospital ran to the mother's aid.

The parents of the child, Melo and Orlando Caceres, say they named the baby girl Miah.

The family says its grateful for the EMT and paramedic's help.

The mother and child are healthy and inside the hospital.
