Parents arrested after allegedly leaving baby in lot

Police say a baby boy is in the hospital and his parents are under arrest after he was left in a Bronx parking lot.

Authorities say the 8-month-old baby was found in his stroller by attendants in a parking lot near 161st Street. Police say both parents assumed the other parent had taken the child.

Some neighbors of the couple say they believe it was an accident. Others say they can't believe someone could forget their child.

Police say Karill Savery and Leonardo Reyes are facing charges for endangering the welfare of a child.
