MLB commissioner will not reverse blown call

Baseball fans at Yankee Stadium were outraged after a critical call that cost Detroit Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga a perfect game.

Umpire Jim Joyce called Cleveland's Jason Donald safe at first, with two outs in the ninth inning. After watching a replay, Joyce said he "cost the kid a perfect game." Joyce later hugged the Detroit pitcher and apologized.

Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig announced today he won't reverse the blown call that cost Galarraga the perfect game.

Selig says Major League Baseball will look at expanded replay and umpiring, but not the botched call Wednesday night.
