Parents call for principal to quit

The Department of Education says it stands behind a Bronx principal as parents are calling for him to quit.

Parents at P.S. 14 say since the principal took over last year they have been concerned about a lack of communication, leadership skills and student safety. They held an emergency meeting to address their concerns.

The DOE is standing by the principal saying grades have gone up. Some parents agree saying the principal works well with their children.
