BX residents honor girl killed in car accident

Dozens particpated Saturday in a relay in memory of Kaitlin Booth, a 12-year-old who died last December.

Booth died after her 15-year-old neighbor allegedly took her out for joyride in his mother's SUV.

Every lap the kids ran raised anywhere from 50 cents to $5. According to Booth's mother, all the money is going to Animals Saved by Grace, a cat rescue service in the Bronx.

Booth's mother says she was an animal lover and would have wanted to support the organization.
