Jury selection postponed for temple attack plot trial
Jury selection in the trial of four men accused of planning to bomb a Riverdale synagogue has been postponed.
A federal judge ruled that the suspects' right to a speedy trial had been violated today after the prosecution said it needed more time to look over key evidence before they handed it over to the defense.
The men are accused of plotting to bomb New York synagogues and shoot down military planes. They have pleaded not guilty, claiming they were entrapped by a federal informant.
All four suspects are expected back in court next June 21.
