Residents prepare for the Annual Feast of Carmel

Bronx residents are ready for day 2 of the Annual Feast of Carmel in Belmont tonight.

While the festival is a big source and food for the Italian community, some remember their Catholic roots.

Vendors say that opening night on Wednesday was washed out by rain that kept most residents from enjoying the festivities. They hope that tonight will be bigger and better for all that attend.

On Sunday, Catholics will carry a statue of the Saint through the streets starting at 5 p.m.
