Rallies in support, against Ground Zero mosque held today

Thousands of people are demonstrating in two separate rallies in Manhattan today concerning the building of a mosque near Ground Zero.

A group of firefighters and families of Sept. 11 victims are joining protestors against the mosque, claiming that it is disrespectful to the people who died in the tragedy.

A few blocks away, the 'New York City Coalition to stop Islamophobia' is holding a rally in support of the mosque to promote religious freedom.
