Boricua College opens campus in the Bronx

Boricua College will be opening a new campus in the Bronx this September.

The new 120,000 square-foot flagship campus, called Boricua Village, will be located in Melrose with 750 housing units for students. The new campus will also include a museum and state-of-the-art science and computer labs.

The opening of the four-year private college will mean that 2,000 more students can go to the school.

Boricua College President Victor G. Morales says the smaller, satellite campus that was opened two years ago on 147th Street has been closed.
