Bronx teen on life support after bike accident

A Bronx teen is on life support after being struck by a car operated by an unlicensed driver, police say.

Family members of 18-year-old Alprentice Gray say he lost control of his bike yesterday morning on Webster Avenue and 188th Street. When he tried to brake, witnesses say his bike skidded across slippery streets and into oncoming traffic.

Gray will be taken off life support in the coming days, family members say.

Police say they issued the driver a summons for not having a license.
