Anti-violence prayer vigil held

(08/31/10) THE BRONX - A prayer vigil was held today at a Bronx park where a young man was killed over the weekend.

Family and friends of murder victims gathered at St. James Park, where a 20-year-old and 15-year-old were shot Sunday. Family members say Jelany Sieria, the 20-year-old, was killed while he was walking across the park to get to the bus to go to his drug rehabilitation program.

His family believes the attack was a targeted killing and they hope that the killer turns themselves in.
