Police searching for missing Bronx teen

The NYPD is asking for the public?s assistance in locating a teenage girl who has been missing since Thursday evening.

Shamira Plowden was last seen at her house on Lafayette Avenue. She is described as 14 years old, 110 lbs., thin build, black hair and black eyes. She wears glasses and has a scar over her left eye. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts with a red belt and a white, beaded necklace.

Police are asking anyone with information about the location of Plowden to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
