New signs heading to Bronx subway entrances

Straphangers in the Bronx will soon see new service signs popping up at subway entrances around the borough.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is expected to release full details on the changes next week. However, the transit agency says part of the plan is to post larger, easier-to-read signs about service disruptions.

The new signs are also supposed to help riders figure out how to navigate transfers.
