30 left homeless after fire on Intervale Ave.

Thirty people are left homeless after a three-alarm fire ripped through their homes Friday night, police say.

The blaze occurred at 1078 Intervale Ave. in the Bronx. Many families say they spent Saturday cleaning up debris, while relying on relatives for support.

Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.

Of the 130 firefighters who responded to the fire, five suffered minor injuries. No civilians were hurt.
