City spraying to prevent West Nile in the Bronx

The New York City Health Department is spraying areas of the Bronx to try to prevent cases of West Nile disease.

Two Bronx residents have been diagnosed with West Nile virus and another with West Nile fever this year.

Larvicide ? to kill mosquito eggs- will be dropped by helicopter in parts of Riverdale, Kingsbridge and Fieldston. The program will take place overnight tonight and tomorrow between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
