March against domestic violence held in the Bronx

Hundreds of men and women dressed as brides and grooms came out today for the ?Brides March? in an effort to promote domestic violence awareness.

The march is in memory of Gladys Ricart who was gunned down by her ex-boyfriend on the day she was marrying somebody else in 1999.

The march started in Washington Heights and finished at the Bronx County Building.
