Trial continues in murder of 91-year-old woman

(09/28/10) THE BRONX - The trial for the woman who is accused of murdering a 91-year-old Bronx grandmother continued today. The prosecution placed the lead and arresting detective on the stand where he gave an account of how he said witnesses came to find the elderly woman. Defense attorneys attacked the credibility of the police informant that led officers to 25-year-old Sparkle Daniel and her friend, Nadine Panton, 34. They claimed officers didn't follow any other leads and listened only to their informant. Both Daniel and Panton have been charged with first-degree murder.
