Police release photos of post office robber

Police have released photos of a man who robbed a Bronx post office located at the corner of 149th Street and Union Avenue Monday.

Investigators say a masked man came up to a female postal employee outside the post office, pointed a gun at her and forced her back inside the building where he demanded cash.

Police say the robber managed to get away with $60. He is described as a black man in his 20s.

U.S. Postal police are offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. They ask anyone with information to call 212-330-2400.
