Proposed bus lines could help Parkchester commuters

? Two new bus lines could help Parkchester commuters affected by recent bus cuts to get around.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is looking to launch a Bx4A and Bx24 lines to serve people living in Parkchester, Spencer Estates and Country Club.

The proposed service will run between 6 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. seven days a week. Residents say they are excited about the new lines because the recent bus cuts affected many commuters in the area.

The MTA will present the proposed lines to the transit committee later today.
