Parents upset at P.S. 14 school report

Parents with children in P.S. 14 are upset the school is underperforming and took their concerns to Community Board 10 last night.

Parents say they are upset the school?s overall performance has decreased from an ?A? to a ?C,? according to the 2010 school progress reports released yesterday.

Some teachers say a new principal has created a hostile environment in the school.

The Department of Education says several schools in the city saw a sharp decline due to changes in the way the state graded English and math tests.
