Diners: Bad restaurant grades not postedPosted: Updated:
Diners at area restaurants say they believe many eateries are not posting their "C" or "D" grades prominently.
All scores must be posted, according to the Department of Health. The department sends health inspectors to check several eateries and give them "A," "B," "C" or "D" grades based on a sanitation checklist.
Some restaurant owners say they are not displaying grades because they are in the process of appealing the decision. A restaurant has 60 days to appeal a grade it receives.
