Police on lookout for 3 robbery suspects

Police are searching for three men they say are responsible for a string of robberies that took place over the last six weeks.

According to officials, the three suspects stormed into six different Bronx businesses, most of them Laundromats, and made off with cash. At each location, police say the men threatened the clerks with weapons.

Owners at a business on Trinity Avenue say the robbers stole $500. Jacinto De La Cruz, who works at a Laundromat on Prospect Avenue, says he protected his business by fighting with the men, but sustained injuries.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
