About-face coming to St. Paul Avenue

City officials say changes are on the way for a Bronx street.

Traffic on Saint Paul Avenue off of Pelham Parkway flows northbound right now, but in a month, it will be reversed to its original southbound direction.

The city had made the switch to a northbound flow back in 2006, but it caused congestion in the area. A Department of Transportation study recently showed that turning traffic around again will help reduce traffic.

Residents that spoke to News 12 The Bronx say they're happy to hear of the reversal, which is expected to be completed next month.
