Morrisania tenants trapped in housing limbo

Tenants living in a Morrisania apartment building are stuck in limbo as they continue to wait for news on whether they will be able to return home.

Residents say they were displaced after a fire tore through the building on 169th Street two weeks ago. Since then, the landlord has continuously told them the building isn't structurally sound.

The tenants say they have been forced to find alternative places to sleep and that the Red Cross only provided shelter for two days.

Dinorah Gonzalez says with three kids and the cold weather it's been devastating not having a home to go to.
