Sanitation worker hit, killed by car in the Bronx
Police say a sanitation worker was killed today while crossing the street in the Bronx.
Authorities say 39-year-old Angel Roldan died from his injuries at Jacobi Medical Center.
Witnesses say Roldan was struck by a blue Honda SUV as he crossed the street on Zerega Avenue to grab something to eat at Teddy's Deli and Cafe.
Police say so far, no charges have been filed against the driver.
Roldan leaves behind a wife and two children.
