Police: Body of BX woman found in suitcase in Harlem

Police say the body found inside a suitcase in Harlem earlier this week was that of a Bronx woman.

Betty Williams, 28, lived in a home along the Cross Bronx Expressway, according to officials.

Investigators say a passerby going through the trash on East 114th Street found the suitcase with Williams' body inside and called 911.

Police say they are searching for a suspect that is shown in surveillance video near where Williams was found.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-8477.
