Cops: Teenager beat over his coat

Police say a boy was attacked by about 20 men Thursday because he refused to give them his coat.
Qason Pringle, 18, says that the men surrounded him outside of the Jeffrey Rapport School for Career Development and beat him when he refused to give them his designer Marmoth Ski coat that he had received for his birthday.
Pringle was able to get back to the school where he collapsed.
The coat was eventually recovered, the school notified the police and a police report has been filed by the family.
Residents, however, wonder why this was able to happen right outside of a school with no witnesses.
