The jury in City Councilman Larry Seabrook?s corruption trial deliberated for the third day today without reaching a verdict. Yesterday, jurors announced they were hopelessly deadlocked on the 12 counts against the lawmaker. The judge, however, asked them to give it more time and to keep trying. Seabrook is accused of taking part in fraudulent schemes to funnel more than $1 million in taxpayer dollars into non-profit groups that he controlled.
