Strike looms for thousands of city cleaning workers

The possibility of a strike is getting closer for thousands of office and apartment cleaners from across the city.
The 32BJ division of the Service Employees International Union says that it will walk the picket line unless a new contract agreement is in place when the current one expires Jan. 1.
Chopper 12 was over the scene yesterday as some of the union members rallied in Manhattan. The strike would effect more than 4,000 workers who live in The Bronx.
