October snow recovery continues in The Bronx

Posted: Updated:

The Bronx is still recovering from last weekend's October nor'easter, with some residents struggling through a third day without power.

Crews in Riverdale, one of the hardest-hit areas, worked today to clear branches and downed trees. Local residents who don't have power say they are trying to take it all in stride.

"You just wear heavy clothes and cuddle up with your wife. I kind of like it," says Dean Emmanuelli, of Riverdale.

Con Edison is working to restore electricity to about two dozen remaining customers in the North Bronx. It says everything should be back to normal by tonight.
