Police put focus Pelham Parkway burglaries

Posted: Updated:

Police say apartments in Pelham Parkway are being targeted by burglars.

Authorities say one man, who is described as being between 30 and 40 years old and weighing about 170 pounds, is responsible for burglarizing apartments at 2132 Wallace Ave. on Oct. 6 and 2138 Wallace Ave. on Oct. 18.

Two people who live in the buildings say they think the suspect and another man have been posing as Con Edison workers to gain access to the buildings.

Police say the suspect stole a laptop and jewelry.
