Cops: 3 Bronx men charged in major gang bust

Police say 12 members of the violent Los Vagos street gang have been arrested, including three men from The Bronx. Investigators say the men are career criminals who operated out of The Bronx and Manhattan. The arrests follow a yearlong investigation, police say. The alleged gang members are each facing a long list of charges that include murder conspiracy, assault, firearms offenses and narcotic trafficking. The three Bronx men who were arrested are 33-year-old Marco Cruz, 26-year-old Rudy Mendoza and Jorge Leyva, whose age was not immediately available. Officials have not yet said when the accused gang members will face a judge.
