Laid-off school workers reeling from decision

Days after Department of Education officials announced that 672 school workers would be laid off, many are still reeling from the decision.

In The Bronx alone, 106 jobs were wiped out.

Sanya Hudson, one of the workers laid off, says she left the building in tears after being told she was being laid off.

While teachers were spared the ax in this round of layoffs, they say that without many of the aides they relied upon, they have to pick up the slack, making their jobs even harder.

Students say they will also be affected because there will be less people working for their education.
