Cops: 2 men wanted for 3 train station robberies

Police are looking for two suspects who they believe are responsible for a series of robberies at subway stations in Baychester.

The suspects have been targeting their victims as they wait for their train on the platform.

Surveillance video has been released showing the two suspects. One is described as an African-American man between 30-40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 165-175 pounds. Police say he flashes a silver handgun at his victims, before demanding money. The second suspect allegedly threw a 14-year-old boy to the ground while he was waiting for the 2 train, before stealing his sweatshirt and cell phone. That suspect is described as an African-American man between 22-25 years old.

Subway riders in the area say they're going to be more attentive to their surroundings, and police are asking anyone with information on the robberies to contact them via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
