Bloomberg: Wall St. protesters not discussed at home
The Occupy Wall Street movement has garnered international attention, but Mayor Michael Bloomberg says the situation has not made its way into his home.
The mayor was asked yesterday whether he discussed the issue with girlfriend Diana Taylor, who is on the board of directors for Zuccotti Park owner Brookfield Office Properties. Bloomberg responded that the protests are not a topic for "pillow talk" and that he hasn't had any direct communication with Taylor about it.
This week, the movement passed its one-month mark as protesters raise more than $300,000 to support their fight against corporate greed, government spending and unemployment.
