P.S. 105 gets high-tech upgradePosted: Updated:
With the school year starting bright and early tomorrow morning, students attending P.S. 105 won't have the traditional blackboard, instead they'll be learning off high-tech "smart boards."
All 36 classrooms have been equipped with the boards.
The boards cost about $4,000 each and the funds were secured by Councilman James Vacca (D-District 13).
Teachers say that the boards allow students to interact with the lessons and allow them to no longer have to waste time turning their backs to write notes on the board.
