Jacobi Medical Center hosts 9/11 memorial

Relatives and friends of those who died on Sept. 11, 2001 gathered today at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx to remember their lost loved ones.

The hospital hosted a ceremony that included the dedication of an artifact from the World Trade Center, and the sharing of many heartfelt speeches, stories and prayers. There is also a memorial to those who perished, where mourners placed wreaths.

Those in attendance say it was comforting to be with other people who lost relatives and friends in the terrorist attacks.
