Concerned parents of students attending P.S. 51 met with health officials Monday night, looking for answers after the discovery of toxic air at the school.
The parents who showed up were handed information from the New York City Department of Health, which explained why classes had to be moved to another building.
They also were given information on the chemical found, TCE. Parents who think their kids may have been affected and became sick were told to reach out to health officials at the Mount Sinai Pediatric Environmental Health Special Unit.
