BX workers rally for unpaid wages

More than 30 workers from The Bronx rallied at the Administration for Children's Services (ACS) offices in Manhattan Friday claiming they haven't gotten paid in about two months.

The executive director for the Head Start program at the Hunts Point Multi-Service Center, Manny Rosa, says that ACS, which funds the program, owes them more than $1 million.

ACS says it is trying to work with the center to complete the contracting process. A spokesperson said, "We understand how difficult this is for affected staff and are hopeful that Hunts Point Multi-Service Center can address their fiscal and organizational challenges in order to accomplish that goal."
