Man gets 14 years for murder of Bronx grandma

A man was sentenced to at least 14 years behind bars today for the fatal shooting of a Bronx grandmother in 2009.

Jamal Blair, 20, took a plea deal on manslaughter and gun charges after a stray bullet he fired went through a living room window in Wakefield, killing 92-year-old Sadie Mitchell.

Blair will serve a four- to 15-year sentence for manslaughter and 14 years for guns charges at the same time.
