News 12 The Bronx tours the national 9/11 Memorial

News 12 The Bronx was invited to take a special tour of the national 9/11 Memorial.

The site has been open for only 15 days, but officials say thousands of visitors have already taken in the sounds and sights of the two reflecting pools in the footprints of the twin towers.

To visit the memorial you must reserve a pass online in advance. Organizers say once construction on One World Trade Center is complete in 2013, they hope the memorial will be open to all visitors at any time.
