Family seeks answers after man is critically injured in hit-and-run

The family of Curtis Loree is searching for answers as to why someone would leave him for dead after a hit-and-run accident last week.

Louree, a father of four, was critically injured and suffered brain injuries when he was struck on White Plains Road on Aug. 2 in the middle of the afternoon.

Police say they believe the vehicle responsible was a white Ford heading southbound.

Family members say they decided to come forward in the hopes that it will bring closure to their tragedy.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
