Bronx residents dealing with fallen trees after storm

As Hurricane Irene, now downgraded to a tropical storm, leaves the area, she left a mess of downed trees making life difficult for many.

On Sands Place in Pelham Bay, tree branches were down all over, including a large branch that completely blocked the road leading to Westchester Avenue.

The storm also caused one large tree to nearly split in two, leaving part of it ready to fall onto a nearby house. Residents are worried that one last wind gust could cause the part of the tree to fall.
