Replacement Sing for Hope piano goes missing from BX park

Residents near the Williamsbridge Oval Park say they are upset after a second piano has disappeared from the park.

The first one, set up by Sing for Hope, was thought to have been stolen until park officials admitted they threw it out.

A News 12 The Bronx viewer generously donated a second piano so the spirit of the program could continue.

Sing for Hope, on their Twitter account, admitted they had taken the second piano and others in the borough to donate them to schools and hospitals.

Residents say they would have liked to have been kept in the loop that the piano was going to be taken and that they went through a lot of effort to have a new piano for only a few days.
