1 person dead, 6 firefighters hurt after fire in Tremont

A two-alarm fire has left one person dead in the Tremont Section of The Bronx.

Authorities say the fire started very early Sunday morning, but have not released any information about the victim.

Police say they found the victim on the second floor of the building.

Investigators are trying to find out the cause of the fire, and a medical examiner will determine the cause of the death of the victim.
