Gas prices inching back up

Drivers looking to get out of town for the summer may have to shell out more money for gas.

Gas prices have been inching back up after a dip early this summer. The average price of a gallon of regular gas is now $4.08 in New York, according to AAA. The price marks an increase of 6 cents since last month.

Last year at this time, drivers were paying $2.96.
