Bronx residents send help to tornado victims

Bronx residents are once again lending a helping hand to people devastated by a tornado that ripped through Missouri two weeks ago.

"I'm looking at these people who have nothing and I have to do something," says Gloria Lagalante, who is shipping everything from diapers to coloring books to Joplin, Mo.

Lagalante says the images of people combing through rubble and debris on television prompted her to act.

The Locus Point Civic Association will be accepting donations for tornado victims on June 13 and 14.
