Computer theft suspect appears in court

The Bronx teen accused of possessing dozens of stolen computers from a Highbridge school was in court today.

Pedro De La Cruz, 17, is charged with stealing about 50 laptops from P.S. 73 last week. Some of the laptops were recovered by police at a storage facility.

Police say De La Cruz is also under investigation for eight other burglaries in the city. He is being held on $1,500 bail.
